Africa’s market is the most underdeveloped automobile market in the world. Apart from South Africa, Morocco, Egypt and Algeria, the automotive market in rest of the countries is considerably small in comparison.

However, it is still importing large quantities of agricultural and food products that may be produced within the continent.

Around 67 million tourists flocked to Africa in 2018, a record 7% increase from 63 million arrivals in 2017 and 58 million in 2016.
